NCS02: Maasai Mara Game Reserve [3 days safari] Itinerary:
DAY 1: NAIROBI - MAASAI MARA We will come and pick your from the pick you up from your hotel, and depart from it by 0730hrs for the Mara via the old escarpment road. Before heading out of Nairobi, we will stop over at a convenience store so that you may but your desired drinks and drinking water. Enroute, we will stop over at the Rift Valley view point where you will be able to take loads of pictures of the scenery. We will then descend into the Rift Valley and cross over to Narok town. Here we will have a short break and then proceed to the Mara. We should be in the Mara towards early afternoon and we will have a game drive as we proceed to camp. At camp, we will have a late lunch, set up camp and leave for an evening game drive at 1600hrs. We will return to camp around 1830hrs for evening tea, to be followed by dinner later on. DAY 2: MARA, WHOLE DAY GAME DRIVE We start off the day early with a wake up call at 0600hrs. After a quick cup of tea, we depart for our early morning game drive at 0630hrs to seek out the big cats amongst the other vast variety of wildlife in the Mara. We will then return to camp at 0930hrs for breakfast. After freshening up, we will depart towards late morning for a picnic lunch on the Mara River and a whole day’s game drive. We will return to camp at 1830hrs for tea and followed by dinner. After dinner, you will be entertained by Maasai traditional dancers around the campfire and one of the dancers will talk to you about their cultural practises. DAY 3: MARA - NAIROBI After breakfast, we will pack up and head out of the camp. You will have a game drive enroute to the park gate and we will then head back to Nairobi with a short stop over in Narok. In “Mai Mahiu” town, we will stop over once again for a picnic lunch and then head back into Nairobi to wind up a camping safari well spent. We will then drop you off at your hotel in Nairobi, winding up your camping safari holiday to Mara.
