Itinerary:

DAY 1: Nairobi – Aberdares

• 0800hrs – ETA Nairobi for Aberdares.
• 1000hrs – ETA turn off to the Aberdare Ranges.
• 1200 hrs – ETA Aberdare National Park gate, game drive enroute to camp.
• 1300hrs – Picnic lunch at camp, set up camp.
• 1530hrs – ETD for an acclimatization hike around the camp.
• 1700hrs – ETA camp for evening tea/coffee.
• 1930hrs – dinner.

DAY 2: Aberdares walking safari

• 0730hrs – wake up call
• 0800hrs – breakfast.
• 0930hrs – ETD camp for hiking around the Aberdare Ranges.
• 1300hrs – picnic lunch
• 1600hrs – ETA camp site for evening tea
• 1930hrs - dinner

DAY 3: Aberdares – Naivasha

• 0730hrs – wake up call
• 0800hrs – breakfast and decamp.
• 0900hrs – ETD camp, game drive enroute to gate
• 1000hrs – ETA Gate.
• 1300hrs – ETA Naivasha camp, picnic lunch at camp.
• 1400hrs – Set up camp, spend the afternoon at camp.
• 1700hrs – evening tea.
• 1930hrs – Dinner

 DAY 4: NAIVASHA - MAASAI MARA

After breakfast, we will pack up and depart for Maasai Mara. Enroute, we will make a stop over at a town called “Mai Mahiu”, where you could have a little stretch and break before we head out across the floor of the Rift Valley to Narok town. This is the last major town that we will cross before heading out into the Mara. Pending on the time that we leave for Mara and the number of breaks that we have enroute, we should be in the Mara by early afternoon. We will have a game drive enroute, as we head towards camp where we will have a late lunch. After setting up camp and freshening up, we will head out for an evening game drive at 1600hrs to return to camp at 1830 for some evening tea and dinner.

DAY 2: MARA, WHOLE DAY GAME DRIVE

We start off the day early with a wake up call at 0600hrs. After a quick cup of tea, we depart for our early morning game drive at 0630hrs to seek out the big cats amongst the other vast variety of wildlife in the Mara. We will then return to camp at 0930hrs for breakfast. After freshening up, we will depart towards late morning for a picnic lunch on the Mara River and a whole day’s game drive. We will return to camp at 1830hrs for tea and followed by dinner. After dinner, you will be entertained by Maasai traditional dancers around the campfire and one of the dancers will talk to you about their cultural practises.

DAY 7: MARA - NAIVASHA

After breakfast, we will decamp and head out for Naivasha. We will have a game drive as we are heading out of the camp. We will stop over enroute for a picnic lunch and arrive at our cottage in Naivasha in the afternoon. You will have the opportunity to relax at camp for and freshen up for your safari to Amboseli the following day. If you so wish, you may take a walk to the Lakeshore

DAY 8: NAIVASHA – AMBOSELI

After breakfast, we will decamp and head out for Amboseli. We will stop over enroute in Nairobi where you will have a chance to buy drinks from a convenience store if you so wish. We will then proceed with our journey to Amboseli. Pending on our time schedule, we should be in Amboseli for a late lunch. After setting up camp in the afternoon, we will head out for an evening game drive at 1600hrs. We will return to camp at 1830hrs for tea and dinner.

 DAY 9: AMBOSELI

We begin the day with an early morning game drive and then return to camp for breakfast. We will again head out to the swamps, as there is always a concentration of wildlife here. Being permanent, you are bound to find Hippos cooling off in them. The bird life here is prolific as well; it is a bird watchers haven! Towards mid-day, we will depart from the camp for the observation hill for a picnic lunch. This is a vantage point in Amboseli which overlooks the swamps and deserts in the park. Right in front of the observation lies the majestic snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. After lunch, we will return to camp to freshen up and get ready for our evening game drive which will commence at 1600hrs and we return to camp at 1830hrs.

DAY 10: AMBOSELI - NAIROBI 

After breakfast, we will decamp and set out for Nairobi by 0730hrs. We will have a game drive enroute to the park gate. On our way to Nairobi we will stop over for a picnic lunch and then proceed to arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. We will then drop you off at your hotel, winding up your camping safari.
