NCS24: The Best of Africa Safari [14 days] – Mara, Nakuru, Baringo, Naivasha, Amboseli, Tsavo West.

 Itinerary:

DAY 1: Nbo – Mara

  •  0830hrs – ETD Nairobi

  • 0900hrs – stop over at Rift Valley view point

  • 1200hrs – stop over in Narok

  • 1430hrs – ETA Sekenani Gate, Masai Mara Game Reserve

  • 1500hrs – game drive enroute

  • 1800hrs – ETA camp site and set up camp

  • 2030hrs – dinner

DAY 2: Mara

  •  0530hrs – wake up call

  •  0600hrs – early breakfast

  • 0630hrs – leave for a whole day game drive

  • 1300hrs – picnic lunch at the Mara River and visit to the Hippo and crocodile pools.

  • 1400hrs – visit to Wildebeest crossing point on the Mara River.

  • 1730hrs – arrive at camp in time for tea

  • 1930hrs – dinner

 DAY 3: Mara

  • 0530hrs – wake up call

  • 0600hrs – ETD camp for walking safari

  • 0630hrs – ETA walking safari drop off point

  • 1100hrs – ETA camp for late breakfast

  • 1400hrs – lunch at camp, spend the afternoon around camp

  • 1600hrs – ETD evening game drive

  • 1900hrs – ETA camp

  • 1930hrs – dinner

  •  2030hrs – ETD camp for night game drive

  •  2230 hrs – ETA camp

DAY4: Mara – Nakuru

  • 0630hrs – wake up call

  •  0700hrs –breakfast and decamp

  • 0830hrs – ETD camp for Nakuru, game drive enroute

  • 1130hrs – ETA Sekanani gate

  •  1630hrs – ETA Nakuru

  • 1700hrs - game drive enroute to campsite.

  •  1930hrs – Dinner  

 DAY 5: Nakuru

0600hrs – wake up call

0630hrs – ETD camp for morning game drive

0930hrs – ETA camp for breakfast

1100hrs – ETD camp for picnic lunch and game drive

1230hrs – picnic lunch at Baboon cliffs

1400hrs – proceed back to camp, spend afternoon by Makalia falls

1630hrs – ETD camp for evening game drive

1830hrs – ETA camp

1930hrs – dinner

DAY 6: Nakuru – Baringo via Lake Bogoria

  • 0700hrs – wake up call

  • 0730hrs – breakfast

  • 0900hrs – decamp and leave for Lake Bogoria

  • 1000hrs – ETA Nakuru Park Gate.

  • 1230hrs – ETA Lake Bogoria Reserve Park Gate.

  • 1300hrs – picnic lunch by the steam geysers.

  • 1430hrs – ETD Lake Bogoria for Baringo

  • 1600hrs – ETA Lake Baringo, set up camp

  • 2000hrs – dinner

 

DAY 7: Lake Baringo

  • 0600hrs – wake up call, depart for boat ride on the lake.

  • 0630hrs – boat ride on the lake

  • 0830hrs – return to shore

  • 0900hrs – ETA camp for breakfast.

  • 0930hrs – breakfast, spend the day at camp.

  • 1300hrs – lunch at camp.

  • 1700hrs – evening tea.

  • 1930hrs – dinner.

 

DAY 8: Baringo – Naivasha

  • 0700hrs – wake up call.

  • 0730hrs – breakfast.

  • 0900hrs – decamp and pack up

  • 1000hrs – ETD camp for Naivasha.

  • 1300hrs – picnic lunch enroute.

  • 1400hrs – proceed to Naivasha.

  • 1600hrs – ETA Naivasha, set up camp

  • 2000hrs – dinner.

 

 DAY 9: Lake Naivasha

  • 0700hrs – wake up call.

  • 0730hrs – breakfast

  • proceed for boat ride on Lake Naivasha

  • 1100hrs – depart from Lake to Hell’s Gate National Park.

  • 1300hrs – picnic lunch in the park.

  • 1430hrs – visit Ol-Njowa canyon

  • 1700hrs – ETD park for camp

  • 1800hrs – evening tea at camp

  • 1930hrs – dinner.

 

DAY 10: Naivasha – Amboseli

  •  0630hrs – wake up call.

  • 0700hrs – breakfast.

  •  0800hrs – decamp and leave for Amboseli.

  • 1300hrs – ETA Namanga for picnic lunch.

  •  1530hrs – ETA Amboseli National Park Gate.

  • 1630hrs – ETA camp, set up camp.

  •  2000hrs – dinner.

DAY 11: Amboseli

  •  0600hrs – wake up call.

  • 0630hrs – early morning game drive.

  • 1000hrs – ETA camp for breakfast, spend morning at camp.

  •  1300hrs –lunch at camp

  •  1530hrs – ETD camp for evening game drive.

  • 1830hrs – ETA camp.

  • 1930hrs – dinner.

 DAY 12: Amboseli – Tsavo West

  • 0700hrs – wake up call

  • 0730hrs – breakfast

  • 0900hrs – ETD camp for cross over to Tsavo

  • 1300hrs – picnic lunch enroute

  • 1700hrs – ETA camp after game drive, set up camp

  • 2000hrs – dinner

DAY 13: Tsavo West

  • 0600hrs – wake up call.

  •  0630hrs – early morning game drive.

  •  0930hrs – ETA camp for breakfast.

  • 1100hrs – ETD camp for game drive enroute to Mzima Springs.

  • 1300hrs – picnic lunch at Mzima Springs

  • 1400hrs – return to camp, spend the afternoon at camp.

  • 1600hrs - ETD camp for evening game drive.

  • 1830hrs – ETA camp.

  • 1900hrs – dinner.

DAY 14: Tsavo West – Nairobi

  • 0700hrs – wake up call

  • 0730hrs – breakfast and decamp

  • 0830hrs – ETD camp for Nairobi.

  • 1300hrs – picnic lunch enroute

  • 1630hrs – ETA Nairobi
